These and other questions were brought closer to a selected audience of representatives from technology and service partners at the ANWR Future Forum on November 29. Developments in retail technologies, digital POS services and new online and offline communication media were thus illustrated.
Socialwave, as a provider of customer WLAN solutions and offline analytics, took advantage of the opportunity to present its services to over 800 industry representatives at the Future Forum. In this context, also reported The shoe courier in its last issue about ANWR Future Day and, in addition to Socialwave, also presented other innovators of digitization in retail. In addition to the basic functions of the WLAN hotspot, the benefits of offline analytical tracking were reported in particular. When these two Socialwave products are combined in stationary retail, offline and online customer information can be combined to form a comprehensive picture. When the customer logs in, the service-oriented WiFi hotspot collects demographic data, such as gender, age and language. Tracking supplements this data with visitor numbers, visit times and routes of individual customers.
